FAST Site New Braunfels 400 Porter, New BraunfelsPrivate: US Lifeguard Assoc ONLY Instructor: Wesley Meyer, Chief Instructor RTI Location: New Braunfels, Texas The FAST 2 is a two day and two night course. Focal points of the FAST 2 are large scale SAR events, conducting search missions for water emergencies, body recovery in adverse conditions, advanced skills including shallow water options, anchors for rope systems, mechanical advantage systems, highline tyrolean with boat on tether, rope and basket system for Class III and above egress conditions, technical night training includes advanced tethered swimmer, searching adverse conditions, advanced strainer rescue. Second night training is mock search and rescue mission.
