This 19 hour class prepares the rescue technician in being comfortable on line, building and managing rescue stations covering basic ropes, knots, anchors, belays, 2 rope rappel, ICS for vert rescue, Slope evac, search techniques, rappelling on various devices, ascending, as well as night training. This class is a pre-requisite for the VRT 2 and 3.
